ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday, March 4.

Anthony Johnson (Benedict) was named Player of the Week, while Blaylor Galice (Albany State) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

Anthony Johnson had a career day at the plate on Saturday, featuring a two-run triple and a monstrous solo shot to left-center field, as he led the Benedict Tigers to a 15-7 victory over the Lincoln (Pa.) Lions.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Blaylor Galice, Albany State
Right-Handed Pitcher  |  6’4  |  Junior  |  Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico

Blayor was key for the Golden Rams this weekend series against Saint Anselm College. He pitched 6 innings, allowing one run, two walks, seven strikeouts, one hit by pitch, and zero hits. Albany State secured three out of four wins in the series this weekend.
