ALBANY, GA – The Albany State University baseball team has added some depth to their pitching rotation for next spring.

The Golden Rams have inked Malik Barrington, a right handed pitcher who hails from Jacksonville, Florida. Barrington will join the Rams after a season at Tallahassee Community College where he notched three wins in 17 appearances for the Eagles. During his freshman campaign, Barrington struck out 26 in 21.2 innings pitched.

“Malik is going to be a vital part of our success in baseball here at ASU”, says assistant coach Aaron Everett. “We are very excited to have him as a part of the Ram Nation.”
