Amion (5-10, 190, Fr., Cutler Bay, Fla.) hit. 320 as the designated hitter with five home runs and 48 RBI. Amion earned first-team All-SWAC honors while playing in 51 games with 42 starts. He was ninth in the SWAC in runs scored (51) while posting a .408 on-base percentage and a .473 slugging percentage. Amion drove in six runs in one inning against Miss. Valley State on March 19 (2-run triple, grand slam HR).

The duo was a part of the first SWAC Championship in ASU baseball history, as the Hornets won a school-record 38 games, including an unprecedented 24-0 mark in league play, the only Division I program in the country this season to go unbeaten in league play. ASU capped it off by winning all four games in the league tournament to win the title and earn its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance at the D-I level.
