MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Alabama State junior outfielder Jabronski Williams not only performed on the field for the Hornets this season, but his name landed him in the Baseball America Top 50 Names in College Baseball.

Williams, who was leading the nation in triples when the season ended in mid-March, was on the third-year list in his first year at Alabama State. The junior came in at 43rd overall, just one spot back of Troy’s Bay Witcher.

The top five included Itchy Burts (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi), Zacchaeus Rasberry (Presbyterian), Zebulon Vermillion (Arkansas), Quest Mock (Incarnate Word) and D’Artagnan Padron (Texas Southern).
