“Zach is a big, strong kid who will bring some power to our offense.  He is also very versatile.  He can play either corner infield position as well as the outfield, if needed.  Zach has great character and is a really good team guy.  He will challenge for playing time right away at either corner infield spot.”

Seth Gerardy                     6’2″        220 lbs.                 C           Fr.          Columbia, MO                  Battle H.S.

“Seth is a big part of this year’s recruiting class.  He is a very powerful and athletic kid who will bring a power threat to our team.  Defensively, he has a strong throwing arm and mobility behind the plate.  Seth has played a lot of games behind the plate, and that experience will help him transition into the college game.  He has the potential to be a big time player for us.”

Tanner Handly                  5’11”     175 lbs.                 OF         Fr.         Nevada, MO                      Nevada H.S.

“Tanner is a tough, hard-nosed player that just finds a way to get the job done.  He is not a flashy player, but is fundamentally sound and has a strong desire to achieve great things.  Tanner will bring us added depth to our outfield and will give us a steady and reliable guy that we can count on.  He is also an outstanding teammate.”

Dax Helsel                          5’7″        140 lbs.                 IF         Fr.           Fulton, MO                         South Callaway H.S.

“Dax is an athletic and tough player who has enjoyed a great deal of success in his high school career.  He brings us a much needed left-handed bat to our team.  Dax is undersized, but brings speed and a solid glove to our infield.  He has the ability to bunt and move runners with his excellent bat control.  He was a multiple sport athlete in high school and is a very competitive person.”

Chandler Hollingsworth                               6’0″        170 lbs.                 P/IF       Fr.         Winfield, MO        Winfield H.S.

“Chandler was a multi-sport athlete in high school and enjoyed a great deal of success in every sport that he played.  On the diamond he has shown to be very versatile.  He has started at multiple positions in his career and is a terrific athlete.  Chandler is going to fill a very valuable role of a utility guy for us.  We are also going to try him on the mound as well.”

Nate Isenberg                   6’0″        220 lbs.                 C         Fr.            Ashland, MO                     Southern Boone H.S.

“Nate is a physical and tough player that provides added depth to the catching position.  Nate possesses a solid swing with good power.  Nate is a good defensive catcher and possesses a quick release to second base.  His throws have good carry and are accurate to their targets.  Nate is a very good teammate and is a positive addition to our team.”

Jeffery Jackson                 6’1″        195 lbs.                 IF/OF        So.         Lithonia, GA                       Andrew College

“Jeffery is highly athletic and a versatile player.  Jeffery has the ability to play either corner infield spot as well as any position in the outfield. He possesses great speed and will be a factor on the bases.  He also swings the bat well with some power.  Jeffery is a great student and will be a leader on our campus.  We look for Jeffery to make an immediate impact somewhere in our lineup.”

Jeremy Jones                    6’3″        155 lbs.                 RHP         Fr.          Malden, MO                      Malden H.S

“Jeremy is a long and lanky pitcher that possesses very good arm strength.  He enjoyed a highly successful high school career and was one of the top pitchers on one of the best teams in his respective class.  Jeremy has some raw ability and will need to make a few adjustments, but the sky is the limit for what he can do on the mound.  He has a chance to pitch for us right away.”

Zach Maskill                       6’2″        175 lbs.                 RHP         Jr.          Kansas City, MO               Southwestern C.C

“Zach is high impact guy for us on the mound that possesses electric stuff.  After a slow start to his sophomore season, he had great success during the last half of the year and carried that momentum into a great summer in the Ban Johnson league.  He has an above average fastball with good breaking stuff along with a solid changeup.  We look for him to be one of our conference starters.”

“Laban is a very athletic player with the ability to be a big time offensive player for us.  He possesses good speed and power offensively.  Laban also has the ability to hit for a high average.  Defensively, he needs to be a little more consistent, but he has the ability to make plays on the defensive end.  Laban will have a great opportunity to win our starting third base job this spring.”

Cody Stegemann             6’0″        155 lbs.                 P/IF        So.        Jefferson City, MO          Missouri Valley College

“Cody is a very versatile player and can fill a number of roles for us.  First and foremost, Cody is going to be a big part of our pitching staff.  He brings a side arm delivery with good velocity and quality secondary pitches.  His command will be the key to his success.  Cody can also be a very big part of our everyday lineup as an infielder.  He played shortstop in high school and with his summer team this past year.”

Jackson Walker                                5’10”     180 lbs.                 C             Fr.        Jefferson City, MO          Missouri State Univ.

“Jackson is a highly athletic and skilled catcher.  He possesses great feet, a strong throwing arm and great mobility behind the plate.  Jackson can also handle the bat well and has good power.  He will also be a threat for us on the base paths.  Jackson will have a great opportunity to be our starting catcher this year.  He will be asked to call all of the pitches and be able to handle our pitching staff.”

Jake Walker                       5’9″        170 lbs.                 IF           Fr.             Jefferson City, MO          Missouri State Univ.
